Thankyou for visiting Sapphire Coast Ecotours. This business is now part of Natural Connections which combines Sapphire Coast Ecotours and The Lagoon Accommodation.
We still offer guided and self guided nature tours, though they are now confined to the 75 acre property at the Murrah on the Sapphire Coast. The main focus of tours that Sue is now conducting are birdwatching tours. Tours are run by appointment.
Please use the contacts page to make an enquiry or a booking.
With a wide variety of habitats on the property, bird watchers are sure to be rewarded with some great sighting opportunities. The area is also home to 3 species of endangered shore birds which you may be lucky to spot on the tours as Sue is a volunteer with the Shore Bird Recovery Programme during the breeding season.
The wildlife on the property also includes a large mob of Eastern Grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies and the more elusive red necked wallaby. During the warmer months you can watch the beautifully decorated lace monitors wandering around the property and at night, spot the possums, sugar gliders and owls in the forest.
